INGREDIENTS

Blue Matcha Syrup
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp (2g) blue matcha powder

Milk Tea

  • 300ml oat milk or milk alternative
  • Ice (optional)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Prepare the blue matcha simple syrup. Whisk together 2g blue matcha powder with water. Mix until all of the blue matcha has dissolved.
  2. In a small sauce pan, add the matcha mixture with the sugar. Simmer for 5 to 10 minutes until the sugar has all dissolved. Stir to make sure the sugar doesn’t burn at the bottom.
  3. Remove from the heat and cool.
  4. Fill your favourite cup with 300ml oat milk and ice.
  5. Drizzle in 1 tbsp of blue matcha syrup, add more to taste.
  6. Stir together before serving
